In March 1996, Elite Tool and Die was formed which was a toolmaking company that supplied high speed press tools and connection terminals to the leading companies in the mobile phone industry. In 2003, our Managing Director began to see a potential slowdown in the mobile phone industry and realised that a change of direction was needed.

It is this engineering background that allows us to bring a product from the idea stage, right through to the final concept and into manufacture using all of our internal resources.

So in 2003, the first product to come from this new venture was the Fold Up Hanger which was taken to the Geneva world invention show where it received a bronze medal. The Next step was to take this new product into retail which brought to our attention that having one single product was not enough. We needed to develop a range which led to the beginning of the Tidi brand in 2005.

Over the past 4 years we have worked tirelessly to build up our constantly growing range of products. Our strategy, which is critical to our success, is to create new and innovative solutions that we protect either through patents or design registration as we strive to achieve our mission, "To be recognised as the market leader in providing innovative household products that solve everyday household problems".
